Rajan Raje's "High Power"
Tarapur, site of India's first nuclear power plant, is only a few hours away from Jaitapur and offers a fascinating comparative study of the impacts of nuclear power plants on the surrounding communities. Rajan Raje's 25 minute documentary on the site is presented below, split up into 3 parts:

Pulled from youtube, here are some videos that illustrate the struggle in Jaitapur by the people of Jaitapur. We have included here everything from debates about the merits of nuclear energy to a frank comparison between the power plant at Fukushima and the proposed project at Jaitapur. Mostly importantly, though, with this selection of video, we wanted to highlight the people's struggle - the fact that they go on bravely fighting to preserve their land and their way of life in the face of extreme and violent response by the police. We show these videos to provide a glimpse of the protestors who we have not been able to interview individually but whose work opposing the Jaitapur Nuclear plant is essential.
